A subsidiary of SIT through board control, SIT Land Holdings Ltd (SITLH) was created in 2001 with the objective of dealing in matters relating to agriculture (cane cultivation, agricultural diversification) and to acquire, hold and/or dispose of properties in general.
Sugar Cane Cultivation
SITLH has a proven track record in sugar cane growing activities having managed an estate of 2,957 Hectares (7,007 Arpents) since its creation.
Presently, the company holds 1,023 Hectares (2,425 Arpents) of land still under sugar cane cultivation. The company’s land bank is grouped under 3 principal blocks, at Highlands, Britannia and Mon Trésor respectively. It is worth noting that all the agricultural operations are managed by SITLH.
